X-Phile on X-Files
An introspective and honest, albeit ramnbling obervation from a devoted X-Phile meant to discuss all things X-Files for all those fellow X-Philes out in fandom or even for the newbies. MOTW, Mytharc, synopsis, and upcoming movie updates--it's all here. Dare I say this is your one stop shop for all things X, if you dare to sit through an hour or so of odd musings.

This is the season where the X-Files comes into its own, and goes full force into the mythology arc we have all come to know and love. While the days of Scully fine-tuning her "bob" and Mulder wearing bad ties still persists, we get scary, creepy, and funny characters--but always with a shocking surprise. Scully goes missing, Mulder goes beserk trying to find her and feeling guilty the entire time. Now both main characters have a personal connection to the X-files. Regardless of Scully's skeptical nature, how can she rationally explain her abduction...and how can anyone get over Flukeman? So long to Deep Throat and "howdy" to the brand new informant, "X". (That's why Mulder does the masking tape x on his window). Surprises galore await in this solidifying second season.

Yet another of the seasons of the X-files during the "Gilded Age". Relive the classic MOTW episodes of Home, Small Potatoes, Leonard Betts, and that talking tattoo in Never Again. Scully deals with the consequences of her abduction during a season of tragedy, surprise, and betrayal. Now, more than ever, Mulder faces an uphill battle against the shady characters of the Syndicate. Will it all prove too much for the sole crusader to endure? (For all those shippers: do Mulder and Scully almost kiss...AGAIN?). If you were to be abandoned on a deserted island and could only take one DVD--this might very well be it--it gives the stunning season 3 a run for its money.
